# Professional Panelists

## Notes for prepping professional panelists for providing feedback (Session 6)

1. Remember: narratives are meant to bridge or connect with specific research papers, not necessarily provide exhaustive expose on them

2. Each narrative has a different "target audience" in mind

3. We're looking for feedback on clarity, delivery, narrative structure, and their reactions about the story “lands” for you (we've been giving each other feedback for 4 weeks-we are too close to be objective anymore!)

4. We are big on feedback here. Feedback literacy is an early, core component of the program. We are here for your honest input.

5. THANK YOU for taking the time to share your expertise and experience with this group.

## Notes for students preparing to present to professional feedback panel

* Remember, there’s nothing everyone in this room wants more than for you to be a total success next week—our feedback is here to help you get to maximum awesome: if you win, we win

* Remember, your story needs to be "self-contained," just as it will be for next week's finale performance
